Elliot's new favorite toy

Elliot had the pleasure of Madeline Parr's company yesterday, as she will be staying with us on Thursdays since her mama went back to work. Elliot thinks she's about the greatest thing around. Of course she had to borrow a bib, so we picked an appropriate one for our house. It was a good time.

First time at the arch

Elliot took a 4 minute trip to the top of the arch along with his aunt Jana and cousin Alex pictured here. (Also present: Uncle Irv, Cousin Austin, and mama). He seemed to like the windows, especially the view of the ballpark. We enjoyed the 1 - 2" swaying of the arch, as it was a windy day. Freaky.

We love to be outside

Yes, it has finally happened. The countertops are in, the dishwasher has been run at least twice, the sink has wonderful water pressure. I am sitting at the breakfast bar drinking coffee and eating a bagel on a REAL plate. You're all welcome for dinner! Just let us know when you'd like to come! chris

Sorry for the delay...

We've been spending some time on the porch lately. Specifically, on the quilt that YaYa (Grandma Gordon) gave Elliot. He LOVES to be outside. There's so much to look at and listen to. He talks a lot more now, and giggles and laughs with dad. He is still rolling and has learned to rotate himself so that he can get to about wherever he wants to be.

The plumber is working as I type, so soon there will be pictures (Lord willing) of a finished kitchen!!!
