Shots and stats

So, the two year/two month checkup was yesterday. Here are the stats:

Elliot: 26 pounds 12 ounces, 35 inches. Someone told me he was 29 pounds at one point. They lied. I'm glad he's not.

Elsa: 10 pounds 1 ounce, 21.75 inches.

Elliot's around the 50th% for both. Elsa is around the 25th% for both.

They both checked out ok. Except that Elliot needs to eat more fruit. That's my observation from reading, not that the doc looked at him and said, does this kid ever eat bananas? Elsie's medicine has begun working (thank God, I mean really, please thank him for this, it's a mercy of modern medicine) so she no longer screams 4 to 5 hours per day. We keep wondering who took our angry child and gave us this wonderfully happy one. She still has fussy times, but I think that's normal, right? We've not yet had a normal baby. We're not sure.

So, Elsie is still a night owl and often stays up with Michael until 11 or 12 or later. I woke her up several times today to try to switch that around. She just keeps going back to sleep...She got four shots yesterday, and therefore four bandaids. But look how happy she was later in the day!

Looking forward to seeing you all in Peoria in the next couple of weeks.
