Off to Peoria

We're taking a vacation, Elliot and I, in Peoria. It's a place where naps abound, the food is cooked for you and the floor is always clean. Not to mention the company. It's a happy place. We'll be back Sunday, in time for Michael's day off. Take care of him for us, those of you who are here. Thanks.

The "Peoria" caught my attention, so had to stop by to say hi. Peoria is my hometown (too?) and although we visit family there alot, I don't know if I've ever used the word "vacation" associated with it!

So, hello and cheers from a St. Louisan.

Hey... thanks for saying hi back. I grew up over by Glen Oak Park and went to Woodruff. We've been in St.L. for 4 years for seminary (and lived several other places other than Peoria before that) and go to New City, which is near where we live in town.

Next year will be our 20th reunion... I don't think either one of us is ready to think about that! But we do go back quite a bit because almost all of our fam on both sides are in Peoria. This is the closest we've ever lived to the kids' g-parents.
